joangel > John's mother, Madge, and stepfather, Carl, were the perfect couple to witness our special moment. They have a love story similar to ours - sweethearts in youth and reunited in later years.
joangel > This is the view we saw as the ceremony was performed - the Superstition Mountains.
joangel > We shooed the ducks from under the ramada, took over a picnic table and said beautiful words to each other. A gentle breeze came across the pond.
joangel > The date also fell on the Lantern Festival/Full Moon Celebration for the Year of the Boar on the Chinese calendar. After much deliberation about where, when, and how to do this, we decided on an intimate ceremony on a small duck pond in John's folks' subdivision. It could not have been more romantic!
